Meet the Democrat operative running a trans terror group

The FBI is investigating Ermiya Fanaeian for potentially having advance knowledge of the assassination on Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk last week.

Fanaeian heads the group Armed Queers SLC, a transgender-themed milita that recruits and trains far-Left militants in Salt Lake City. Flyers for events hosted by Armed Queers show a focus on “arming trans liberation” and a so-called “queer resistance”—with the letter “q” forming the Marxist hammer and sickle symbol.

An Armed Queers ad for a meetup on September 27th features what appears to be a transgender person wearing bandoliers and holding an AK-47 posing against a Pride flag. The ad says “Agitate, Educate, Organize.” A recruiting ad for Armed Queers states: “The revolution will not be voted in. Join Armed Queers. Get organized and educated with fellow Marxists.”

Armed Queers closely coordinates with the Socialist Rifle Association, a far-Left Marxist militia. One of the Socialist Rifle Association’s members is Adam Lansky, a transgender-identifying man who attacked a Tesla dealership in January. Lansky firebombed the dealership with Molotov cocktails, aimed a rifle at a witness, and returned the next day to shoot up the building. Nevertheless, Obama-appointed Judge Stacie Beckerman ordered Lansky’s release to a halfway house, calling his behavior an “outlier event.”

The FBI has turned its attention to Fanaeian and Armed Queers in the wake of Kirk’s assassination, based on allegations that they had ties to the assassin, Tyler Robinson.

‘Sometimes violence . . . must take place’

In a video now circulating on social media, Fanaeian, a male who identifies as transgender, openly advocates for domestic terrorism.

“Some people say that it takes a violent protest to get people to listen. Do you agree, or should they remain peaceful?” he was asked.

“I agree, I absolutely agree,” Fanaeian replied. “I’m a member of the LGBTQ community, and our liberation, our rights, came after the Stonewall riots. That’s something that a lot of people don’t like to talk about, that the LGBTQ movement started with the Stonewall riots. I wouldn’t even be able to be a student at this school if it wasn’t for a violent riot that took place within a span of three days. So I absolutely agree that sometimes violence, protests, and really riots and those kinds of rebellions must take place for tangible change.”

Democrat activities

Fanaeian worked on Rep. Ben McAdams’s (D-UT) 2018 campaign and worked on Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) presidential campaign in 2020. She was an appointed member of the Salt Lake City mayor’s Gun Violence Prevention Commission.

The New York Post notes that in 2022, Fanaeian received a “7 for 17” award for “gender equality” by Utah Global Diplomacy, a nonprofit that worked with the State Department to “promote citizen diplomacy and international exchange in Utah.”

After Kirk’s assassination, Utah Global Diplomacy shut down its website and removed references to Fanaeian’s award.

Fanaeian also belongs to the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), which is funded by billionaire Neville Roy Singham. Singham is an adherent of Maoism, a Marxist ideology named after the late Chinese dictator Mao Tse Tung. The American-born billionaire is so enamored with Chinese communism, in fact, that he made China his home. He currently lives in Shanghai, where he runs a consulting group with propagandists in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). From there, Singham funds dozens of nonprofits engaged in anti-American and anti-Israeli activism, like the pro-Hamas protests that shut down Columbia University last year.
